Anatomy and tissue assessment
Facial structure, tissue quality, existing volume, asymmetry, movement and previous treatment are assessed in person. A photograph or another person’s treatment cannot determine your plan.

Professional treatment planning begins with an individual skin assessment, a discussion of suitability and clear expectations.
Consultation-Led Medical Aesthetics
Dermal fillers are injectable medical device implants used to add or restore volume in suitable soft-tissue areas. Treatment may be considered for carefully selected concerns relating to facial support, proportion or contour.
At MC Aesthetics, every recommendation begins with medical consultation. Your anatomy, tissue quality, health history, previous treatment and preferred degree of change guide whether filler is appropriate, which product may be considered and how a treatment plan should be staged.
Dermal filler treatments are designed to restore lost volume, refine facial contours and enhance natural features with subtle, balanced results. They may be used to support areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline and lower face.
Each treatment is carefully planned according to your facial structure, proportions and desired outcome. The focus is on precise, conservative enhancement that maintains harmony and preserves your natural expression.

Dermal Filler or Botulinum Toxin?
Dermal filler adds or restores volume in selected soft tissue. Botulinum toxin temporarily alters selected muscle activity. They are not interchangeable, and neither is automatically the right treatment for a line, fold or change in facial contour.
Individual Treatment Planning
A responsible plan considers facial structure, soft-tissue support, movement, symmetry and the relationship between features before any product or treatment area is proposed.
Facial structure, tissue quality, existing volume, asymmetry, movement and previous treatment are assessed in person. A photograph or another person’s treatment cannot determine your plan.
The objective is not simply to add more volume. Recommendations consider balance between facial features and whether a subtle, staged or alternative approach better supports your goal.
Fillers differ in composition, physical properties, intended use and duration. Product choice and quantity are determined only after assessment and must suit the proposed tissue plane and treatment objective.
Treatment may be planned conservatively or in stages. Swelling can temporarily affect appearance, so further decisions should follow recovery and review rather than immediate additional treatment.
Consultation & Safety
Dermal filler injection is a medical procedure. Product choice, treatment area, technique and suitability must be assessed individually, with clear discussion of expected benefits, limitations, alternatives and possible complications before consent.
Tell your practitioner about allergies, previous filler and injectable treatments, medicines and supplements, bleeding disorders, pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent illness, vaccination or dental treatment, and any active skin inflammation or infection. Treatment may need to be delayed or avoided.
Your clinician should explain the proposed product, intended use, treatment plan, common reactions, less common complications and what to do if you are concerned. Dermal filler should not be self-injected or delivered with a needle-free filler device.
Temporary swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, pain or itching may occur. Infection, inflammatory reactions, lumps or nodules, asymmetry, migration, tissue damage and an unsatisfactory result are also possible. Some reactions can appear weeks, months or longer after treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
These answers provide general information only. Product-specific guidance and your individual medical consultation take priority.
Dermal fillers are made from different materials and have different physical properties, intended uses and durations. Many commonly used temporary products contain hyaluronic acid, but the exact product considered for you must be confirmed during consultation.
Duration varies according to the product, quantity, treatment area, tissue structure, movement and individual response. Your clinician can discuss the expected range for the specific proposed product, but longevity cannot be guaranteed.
Treatment can be planned around a subtle and proportionate objective, but no exact aesthetic outcome can be guaranteed. Your existing anatomy, tissue response, swelling and healing all influence the result.
Swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, pain or itching may occur and vary by product, area and person. Allow for visible recovery and follow the treatment-specific instructions provided by your clinician.
Some hyaluronic-acid fillers may be reduced with a prescription enzyme when clinically appropriate, but this is a separate medical treatment with its own limitations and risks. Other filler materials may be difficult or impossible to remove completely.
A staged or combined plan may sometimes be considered, but suitability and timing depend on the treatments, products, recovery and your medical assessment. Combination treatment is never assumed before consultation.
