Wellness & Recovery · George
Professional treatment planning begins with an individual skin assessment, a discussion of suitability and clear expectations.
Gentle, Rhythmic Care
Lymphatic Massage uses slow, gentle and rhythmical techniques intended to encourage the natural movement of lymphatic fluid. Unlike deep-tissue or relaxation massage, it relies on light pressure and a carefully considered sequence.
The treatment may be selected for general wellness or as part of an appropriately approved recovery plan. Swelling can have many causes, so consultation and health screening are essential before treatment.
Light and rhythmical
Gentle, never deep
Individually screened
A Distinct Massage Method
Lymphatic techniques work superficially and should not feel like firm muscle work. The treatment is not a detox cure, weight-loss method or substitute for assessment and management of lymphoedema or unexplained swelling.
Your Treatment Journey
The treatment area and sequence are selected around your reason for booking, medical history and any guidance from your healthcare or surgical team.

Positioning, treatment areas and areas to avoid are agreed, with privacy and comfort maintained throughout.

Slow, light and rhythmical movements are applied in a considered sequence without deep pressure or forceful manipulation.
04
Your response is reviewed and relevant aftercare or future-session guidance is explained before you leave.
Consultation & Safety
Gentle technique does not remove the need for careful screening. Infection, blood clots, unstable heart or kidney disease and complications after surgery require medical assessment rather than massage.
Disclose heart, kidney or liver disease; cancer care; lymph-node removal; clotting history; pregnancy; active infection; recent surgery; unexplained swelling; and all medicines or medical devices.
After surgery, provide the procedure details and follow your surgeon’s timing and restrictions. We may request written clearance or refer you to a specialist lymphoedema therapist.
Report pain, dizziness, nausea, breathing difficulty or worsening swelling immediately. Contact the clinic if an unexpected or persistent reaction develops after treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Appropriate screening is especially important when swelling or recent surgery is part of your reason for booking.
It is a specialised light-touch approach using slow, rhythmical movements designed around superficial lymphatic pathways.
No. Lymphatic techniques use gentle pressure because lymphatic vessels are superficial. Firm or painful pressure is not the aim.
Unexplained, sudden or worsening swelling needs medical assessment first. Massage should not be used before serious causes have been excluded.
Only when your surgeon or treating healthcare professional confirms the timing and approach are appropriate. Procedure details and restrictions must be disclosed.
No responsible treatment can promise toxin removal or fat loss through massage. Temporary fluid-related changes are not the same as losing body fat.
There is no universal course. Recommendations depend on your goal, health status, response and any instructions from your healthcare team.
