Independent healthcare providers
Doctors, Medical Aesthetic Practitioners and other visiting medical practitioners who practise from MC Aesthetics operate as independent healthcare providers. They are not employees of Marilize and Carla Aesthetics (Pty) Ltd.
Clinical independence
Independent practitioners determine their own assessment, treatment plans, informed-consent process, professional fees and clinical decisions. They maintain their own professional registrations, clinical responsibilities and professional indemnity arrangements.
MC Aesthetics’ role
MC Aesthetics provides consulting-room facilities and may provide limited administrative or booking support. This does not make MC Aesthetics the provider of an independent practitioner’s professional advice or medical treatment.
Liability and complaints
Professional queries, treatment concerns and complaints relating to an independent practitioner’s services should be directed to that practitioner. To the extent permitted by law, MC Aesthetics accepts no liability for professional advice or treatment rendered by an independent practitioner. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
