View treatment details →Thank you for choosing MC Aesthetics for your professional waxing treatment. Waxing removes unwanted hair from the root, leaving your skin smooth and hair-free for several weeks. Proper preparation and aftercare help minimise irritation, reduce the risk of ingrown hairs, and achieve the best possible results.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
For 24–48 hours before your appointment:
Gently exfoliate the treatment area to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Keep your skin well moisturised (avoid applying lotion on the day of your appointment).
Stay well hydrated.
Hair Length
Hair should be approximately 5–10 mm (about the length of a grain of rice) for effective waxing.
Avoid shaving for at least 2–3 weeks before your appointment.
Avoid for 24–48 hours before treatment:
Retinol or Retinoids (Vitamin A) on the treatment area
Glycolic, Lactic or Salicylic Acids
