1. Consultation and suitability
All treatments are subject to consultation, informed consent, medical disclosure and practitioner assessment. MC Aesthetics or the treating practitioner may postpone, modify or decline treatment where it may be unsafe, unsuitable or outside the practitioner’s scope.
2. Client disclosures
Clients must disclose medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies, medication, supplements, prior procedures, active infections and any change relevant to treatment safety. MC Aesthetics cannot accept responsibility for complications caused by incomplete or inaccurate disclosure.
3. Consent and photography
Consent must be given before treatment and may be withdrawn before treatment begins. Clinical or progress photographs may be requested for treatment records. Marketing use requires separate written consent, which may be withdrawn for future use.
4. Results and risks
Results, recovery and healing differ between individuals. No specific outcome, duration or aesthetic result is guaranteed. All procedures carry possible side effects, risks and complications, which will be discussed where relevant.
5. Aftercare
Clients must follow the practitioner’s preparation and aftercare instructions and promptly report unexpected symptoms. MC Aesthetics is not liable for complications arising from failure to follow those instructions, subject always to applicable law.
6. Fees and appointments
Fees must be paid as agreed. A 50% deposit may be required for selected treatments, packages and specialised orders. The separate cancellation and deposit policy applies.
7. Refunds
Treatments already performed are non-refundable, without limiting any non-excludable remedy available under the Consumer Protection Act.
8. Independent practitioners
Doctors and visiting medical practitioners operate as independent healthcare providers and determine their own clinical plans and fees. Their professional services are subject to their own consent documents and terms.
